Olive Oil from Casa de São Miguel originates in Trás-os-Montes, more specifically in Mirandela.

Located in the heart of Terra Quente (the Hot Land), these olive trees from the “Cordovil”, “Verdeal” and “Cobrançosa” varieties are regularly exposed to the wind and the intense summer sun. The geological and climatic characteristics make this region, according to experts, one of the best regions in the world for the production of Olive Oil.

Obviously, the quality problems in bottling and distribution were not forgotten, so São Miguel decided to invest in a bottling line of their own and in acquiring the means to carry out the marketing of their products, in particular the traditional olive can, so characteristic of Portugal. It is also the best way to preserve the oil from the light.

The extraction of this premium oil is done only by mechanical processes, extracted in cold and in an ecological winery.
