Fisherman's Soup with Potatoes and Baby Vegetables

$22.80

A complete, balanced meal with a recipe that is both traditional and subtle.

Typically, when fishing boats returned, the crew were entitled to a small proportion of the catch called "la godaille". The crew would cook this with vegetables from their gardens to make a rich soup meal.

The la belle-iloise cannery has recreated this traditional dish with white wine, conger eel, prawns, lobster and aromatic flavourings cooked in a richly flavoured broth with pieces of pollock, potatoes and vegetables.
